Tainted Wisdom

I recently read a North American Van Lines Review that was very upsetting. It makes me never want to do a long distance move. Just about everything that could go wrong for this family did when they decided to use NAVL as their moving company. 

I find it disturbing that when a company like this messes up so blatantly, it chooses to turn on its customers instead of trying to make up for their own mistakes. It is very obvious that the customer care people are versed in 'lawyer speak' to save their company a few bucks instead of comforting clients they have wronged.

This is a conscious decision by North American Van Lines to blame others for their mistakes instead of correcting their wrongs. I know they could have gotten that family a truck anytime they wanted - if they really wanted to. Instead they opt to let them suffer it out on their own for 3 weeks so they can still turn a profit.

That is bullshit - if you screw up that bad you do what it takes to make up for it - profit be damned. That is what a good company would do - but it appears NAVL is far from being a 'good company'.
